Learning Resources
One study and one revision kit per unit: Learners will receive two hard-copy textbooks per unit. One study kit and one exam kit. The former will be used alongside the pre-recorded content to learn the related topics. The latter is expected to help you reinforce your learning and apply it against a wide range of questions to help you effectively prepare for your final unit assessment.
Pre-recorded presentations: We have pre-recorded the entire curriculum of this qualification, splitting each unit into easily digestible chapters and sections available on demand to all distance learners. Containing helpful narration and visual examples, regardless of the type of learner you are, you will find a resource to aid in how you best learn.
On-demand pre-recorded classroom delivery: You may be a distance learner, but why should this hinder your ability to benefit from live tutor delivery? With CMS it doesn’t. You will be able to watch pre-recorded delivery from our live classroom delivery session on demand to complement the pre-recorded presentations and your understanding of the study text.
Practice unit assessment tutor walk-throughs: As you complete your unit learning and approach your readiness for the final unit assessment you will find it useful to not only attempt practice assessments but to benefit from a tutor explaining what information a task is asking and how you should go about answering it. It is also useful to be made aware of common pitfalls. Our practice assessment tutor walk-throughs provide a solution to this. Whether you have done the practical assessment and want to see where you have gone wrong or whether you are watching it to get a ‘feel’ for the assessment, these on-demand recordings allow you to get a detailed overview of the unit assessment requirements to be best prepared.
Online question spreadsheet to all for tutor support: All the learning and revision activities available in your hard-copy study and exam kit books are also available on an online spreadsheet. This allows you to answer your questions online rather than in your textbooks, ensuring your tutor can, as necessary, review your answers and identify areas and topics of misunderstanding.
Access to MyKaplan online content and practice assessments: Studying with CMS allows you also to access online My Kaplan resources. This content includes videos and additional learning assessment tasks to complement the above resources and best prepare you for your final assessment.
Access to AAT learning portal:*
The AAT learning portal access comes with your AAT membership and contains access to a range of learning resources to complement the CMS proprietary content.

Enrolment
Upon enrollment, you will receive joining instructions via email within 24 hours. In addition, you will also receive a text message containing a hyperlink through which you can schedule your induction at a date and time that suits you.
Induction
A team member will join you on a Zoom webinar lasting approximately 45 minutes. On the webinar they will show you the system and resources and explain how you can work towards your programme and request support.
Support
As a distance learner, you can request unlimited support at no additional cost in one of two ways.
WhatsApp: message us on WhatsApp to explain the matter you require support with. This then opens a support ticket, and a tutor will respond accordingly.
e-mail: email support@cmsvoc.co.uk, and again, we will respond accordingly.
Loom: Regardless of whether you email or WhatsApp us and depending on the nature of the query, we would strongly recommend using loom where appropriate to make your query as straightforward as possible. Loom allows you to record your screen and outline the area, topic or question you are struggling with while narrating over the top of it.
Your tutor will also take the same approach and provide a clear and relevant response, which can be watched at a time and place that suits you and as often as required. Responses will be received via WhatsApp or email, depending on how the original request was made.
Live webinar support: If additional support is required in the format of live 1-1 support on webinar, this can be scheduled on request. This support is payable at £48 / hour, and we highly recommend the learner provide a clear rationale for the support visit by recording a loom so we can have the most impact in the requested session and best prepare for any live support.
However, we firmly believe that the unlimited support outlined above is all that is required when used effectively.
Self-funded:
£600 (upfront payment or 0% interest monthly instalments)
